Iran, Turkey and Afghanistan to hold Rumi’s peace conference

IBNA- Representatives of three countries, Iran, Turkey and Afghanistan will participate at a two-day conference, Peace from the View of Molana Rumi scheduled for December 29-30 in Tehran.

correspondent, the event has been organized by the Iranian Soroush Molana Cultural and Artistic Institute which has held annual programs to commemorate the legendary Persian language poet and Sufi mystic Molana Jalal al-Din Mohammad Balkhi
known in the West as Rumi.
This year, the two-day event will be attended by Iranian scholars Mohammad Ali Movahed, Mustafa Malekian, Amir Akrami, Hamid Reza Tavakoli and Mahdi Salarinasab as well as foreign experts including Hijabi Qarlanqich, Adnan Qara, Ismail Oghlu, and Ali Tamizal from Turkey; Asadollah Sho’ur, Sarvrasa Rafi’zadeh and Shokoufe Akbarzadeh from Afghanistan; along with Nour-Ali Noorov from Tajikistan who will make speech.
The conference will be hosted by Iraj Rezaei, an Iranian university professor and Rumi expert.
Also, Soroush Molana Cultural and Artistic Institute offers a special discount for its products during the event, and a trilingual quarterly ‘Sunrise View’ will be introduced.
The conference, Peace from the View of Molana Rumi will be held in Iran’s National Library and Archives on Saturday and Sunday, 8 and 9 December, and the admission will be free for the public.
