‘Beetle Boy’, Darkus in Iranian bookstores

IBNA- The First Book from the Series of ‘Beetle Boy’ by the British writer M. G. Leonard has been translated into Persian and released Indie Iranian bookstores.
Speaking to IBNA
, the translator of the book Zahra Shahabadi said: “The story is centered on Darkus, a thirteen years old boy whose father is missing mysteriously and he decides to find him.”
“The book is full of adventures and exciting descriptions for children and young adults. It enjoys a high scientific level and will dramatically improve the children's knowledge of ecology and science about insects. Even it may help children to become friends with insects,” she added.
Thirteen-year-old Darkus Cuttle’s search for his kidnapped father leads him to discover a mountain of extraordinary beetles, and pits him against the mad-scientist of the fashion world, Lucretia Cutter, an haute couture villainess with an alarming interest in insects.
