Iran’s stand at FBF promotes our publishing industry

IBNA- An Iranian director of print industry said that one of the advantages of attending Frankfurt Book Fair (FBF) is the reduction of expenses and helping our publishers to promote their books internationally.
In an interview with IBNA,
executive director of Qoqnous Publishing Amir Hossein-Zadegan, gave his opinion on Iran’s participation at the upcoming 70th Frankfurt International Book Fair
: “The approach of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute in establishing a stand in this event has provided the ground for the Iranian books to be better noticed by international publishers and Iranian writers and publishers are enabled to discuss with their foreign counterparts directly.”
“The Publishers of books for children and young adults have a better condition to introduce the works in Frankfurt Book Fair which is related to the features of this book genre. These books extensively use illustrations and their texts are translated more rapidly. But the case of novels is different, since the translation of novels takes much more time and expense.” he said.
The director said that Qoqnous Publishing will participate at Frankfurt Book Fair which about 100 book titles which ten of them are new.
Frankfurt Book Fair Frankfurter (Buchmesse) is scheduled for October 10 to 14.
