French playwrights to attend book signing celebration in Tehran

IBNA- Two French playwrights Enzo Cormann and Luc Tartar will attend a book signing ceremony to be held at Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran for 3 French plays translated to Persian.

According to IBNA correspondent, scheduled for today and tomorrow, the ceremony is a prelude to panels on dramatic literature titled “The Position of Text in Today’s Theater” during which the three plays printed by Nimaj Publishing- which has contributed to organizing the event- will be unveiled.
The plays, ‘The Other, I Believe’ by Cormann; ‘Bal-Trap: A Desire to Kill on the Tip of the Tongue’ written by French playwright, writer and director Xavier Durringer and ‘Right at the End of the World and a Love Story’ by French actor, theatre director and playwright Jean-Luc Lagarce. All three plays have been translated into Persian by Ziba Khadem-Haqiqat.
As well as Cormann and Tartar who is also an award-winning playwright, novelist and actor, Iranian theater experts, playwrights and directors Hamid Amjad, Asghar Nouri and Mohammad Amir Yar-Ahmadi will attend the ceremony which is slated for 6:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
