IBNA- From the early hours of the 69th Frankfurt Book Fair (FBF) Iran's stand in this event began to welcome visitors today.
According to IBNA
correspondent, the programs of Iran at the 69th FBF (Buchmesse)
commenced with holding three sessions in the morning including a review on the book 'Iran: Architectural Guide'
by German Professor Thomas Meyer-Wieser which accounts for the Iranian architecture from Safavid era to the Islamic Revolution and the subject of children and young adults literature was the focus of the second meeting.
The third session was centered on the Iranian resistance literature attended by two Iranian experts Hamid Hesam and Gol-Ali Babayi. Referring to the features of the Iranian resistance literature, Hesam explained that it is equivalent of the Arabian resistance literature which has been frequently manifested in the form of poetry. However, in Iran this literary genre is typically associated with fiction and biography which is influenced by the Iranian epical literature.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse is arguably the most important international trade fair for content, the center of the international media world and a major cultural event. Nowhere else in the world does the publishing and media industry show itself from a more diverse, innovative and international side than during these five days in October.
