Russians welcome “Sacred Defense” literature at MIBF

IBNA- At the 30th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) currently underway in the Russian capital, people have welcomed books on various Iranian literature genres including the “Sacred Defense”.
According to IBNA correspondent, in the 30th Moscow International Book Fair more than 250 book titles on a variety of subjects such as Iranian classic poetry, contemporary literature and the biography of martyrs of the “Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq War)” are on public display.
The books have gained the attention of visitors of Iran’s stand which has an area of 24 m² in this event. The works of Iranian classical poetry includes the collected poems by legendary figures such as Khayyam, Hafez and Sa’di which are presented in bilingual editions.
One of the other programs of Iran’s stand at Moscow International Book Fair is inviting foreign publishers to participate at the 31st Tehran International Book Fair which is scheduled for April 2018. Publishing institutes from India, China, Taiwan, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Armenia, and Serbia are among those which have been invited to Tehran book event.
Russia was the guest of honor at the 29th Tehran International Book Fair and is the guest of honor of the Paris Book Fair 2018.
The 30th Moscow International Book Fair opened on September 6 and will run until September 10 in VDHN.
