BIBF to unveil Persian translation of the Chinese book ‎

IBNA– The Persian version of the book ‘Par’ by Wen Shan, will be unveiled in ‎the 24th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF).‎
According to IBNA correspondent, At the unveiling ceremony of the Persian translation of the book ‘Par’ by Chao Wen Shan will be unveiled in the 24th Beijing Book Fair with the Persian translator Sahar Tarhandeh, the writer, illustrator and the Chinese publisher of the book, as well as the Publisher of the Persian version in attendance.
 Sahar Tarhandeh is a writer, translator and illustrator of children’s books. She was elected as a jury member of Hans Christian Andersen International Award  from Iran in 2012. This is the most prestigious literary and artistic award in the field of the children’s literature.
Several articles and reviews have been written by her on illustration and graphic arts. This artist is now a member of the Board of the Children’s Book Council.
Furthermore, on the sidelines of the Beijing Book Fair works by Iranian illustrators like Anahita Teimurian, Hamideh Khosravian, Mahboubeh Yazdani and Maryam Tahmasbi will be displayed in the Iranian stand.  
The 24th edition of Beijing Book Fair will be held on August 23 to 27. The event is one of the most important book exhibitions in the field of publishing, copy right and electronic books in Asia. Iran is the special guest of this exhibition and will take part in it with the motto “Iran, the Colorful Dream of Silk Road’s.”
