He recently published a story entitled ‘On the Mane of the White Horse’ which was illustrated by Kamal Tabatabayi and published by the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCY).
This book which is published for young adults aged between 12 to 14, is about a white horse and its relationship with its owner. The horse, which is described by the owner as a sleepy one has miracles of its own. Orange blossoms grow on its mane at times, or grapes in other times, until it finally wakes up and rebels.
The work is narrated in a poetic style and has a philosophical theme like other works of Ahmadi’s.  It is published in 44 color pages in two thousand copies by the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
A part of the book reads as such: “A winter morning, the owner of the white horse took it to the sea. He waited there by the seaside until night, but the horse didn’t return. The old man went to the seaside from then on, every morning, putting hay for it on the beach so the horse wouldn’t go hungry in case it returned from the sea.”
Ahmadi was the selected poet of 2006 in the Fifth Persian Award of Bijan Jalali, and he was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize in 2009.
