Holy Quran application for children unveiled at exhibition

IBNA- a Quran application titled ‘Shahr-e Gheseh’ (City of Stories) was unveiled on Monday at the conference Hall of the 25th Holy Quran international Exhibition which is currently underway in Tehran.
According to IBNA correspondent, the unveiling ceremony was held on Monday at 11 p.m. The event was attended by the head of Institute For Dialogue between Religions Mohammad Ali Abtahi; some members of Social and Cultural Committee of Iran’s Parliament (Majlis); former mayor of Tehran Morteza Alviri; children writer and poet Mustafa Ramandoust and a veteran radio programs host Maryam Nashiba.
The application features contents from the book ‘Anecdotes of Pious Men’ by the late Ayatollah Morteza Motahhari, a top ideologue of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. ‘Anecdotes of Pious Men’ is a collection of ethical fictions which was also published in English by Ansariyan in 1993.
Performed by Ms. Nashiba,  in ‘Shahr-e Gheseh’, an interactive technology is used to help children improve their learning abilities and knowledge.
