IBNA– The book ‘42: Deep Thought on Life, the Universe, and Everything’, consists of 42 sayings of people who lived a profound life; a beginning for seekers of a richer way of living.
According to IBNA correspondent, the book ‘42: Deep Thought on Life, the Universe, and Everything’ by Mark Vernon, translated by Pejman Tehranian is released by Farhang-e Nashr-e No Publication.
In this work, Vernon explains that 42, according to a supercomputer calculation of “pure thought” in the free traveler guide to the galaxy, is an answer to the mystery of life, the universe and everything. Needless to say that it is not a real answer but a joke. But is it a bitter joke that implies there is no ultimate response? Or a wise joke that says the answer to the riddle of life is not found in abstract concepts, but it can only be found in real lives? So I guess the calculation of “pure thought” was wise.
You read 42 sayings of the people who lived a deep life in this book; sentences that will be a starting point for those in search of a deeper life. And this is by no means an easy task. Anyone who has tried to make a balance between work and life knows this. ‘42: Deep thought’ attempts to introduce a new plan in pursuit of what may really make a difference.
