IBNA- At the third nationwide meeting of Culture Ministry directors, Ali Jannati said that Iran’s Book House Institute and Cultural Fairs Institute have taken significant steps to promote our society’s culture in recent times.
According to IBNA correspondent, the 3rd National Meeting of Culture and Islamic Guidance Directors in Iran was held on July 24, 2016, at Enghelab Hotel in Tehran, with Culture Minister Ali Jannati and his deputies in attendance.
At this event, Jannati said: “What seems to be important in cultural activities is the spirit of the actions taken in this area. It is the spirit of actions that make one closer to God, in the absence of which no doubt we are all losers, particularly those who are in charge of guiding the society who need to pay more attention to this issue and learn before teaching the others.”
He pointed out that if our senior managers are self-made, healthy and self-refined individuals, the lower ranks no doubt will follow in their footsteps.
“Concrete measures are being taken in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in cultural activities on the basis of which I think we are doing our best according to the tasks assigned to us. One of our features is the transparency of our measures and that people comment about them,” Culture Minister added.
