IBNA- The book ‘Honar-e-Ma`qbul’ (Reasonable Art), based on the works of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, written by Behrouz Avazpour, is released by Mogham Publications in Tabriz.
According to IBNA correspondent, the author of the book has tried to offer a genuine system of aesthetics and art philosophy by using the philosophical theories of Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Ameli. The subject, Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics was first introduced by Alexander Baumgarten, a German philosopher, in the 18th century. This outlook, of course, existed in the papers of most philosophers of ancient Greece in the history of thought, up until the present era.
Aesthetics and philosophy of art is considered an emerging topic in Iran. Some critics believe that the development of genuine aesthetics and philosophy of art should depend on the opinions and ideas of Islamic and Iranian scholars in the course of the history, as the ideas and theories of Western intellectuals are not perfect when they are faced with the question of art in Iran.
It should be noted that the majority of scholars and experts on the Islamic philosophy do not have an independent written paper on aesthetics and the philosophy of art, and it is just possible to achieve their aesthetic views by getting acquainted with their thoughts on the subject.
