Iran’s Oceanography Institute and Persian Gulf University to cooperate

IBNA- Iran’s National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, and the University of the Persian Gulf signed a cooperation agreement to develop research and training in fields related to marine and oceanographic science and technology.
In an interview with IBNA
, Manuchehr Mohammadi, expert of public relations in the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences
, spoke on the objectives of this agreement and said:
“The cooperation agreement between the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and the University of the Persian Gulf
was signed on July 11, 2015, to develop and expand research and training in fields related to marine and oceanic sciences and set the stage for effective communication, promotion, training activities and research.”
“Translation, compilation and publication of books and scientific publications are included in the terms of this agreement,” he pointed out.
He added that in this agreement which was signed by Naser Hajizadeh Zaker (PhD), President of the Institute, and Abdolmajid Mosleh (PhD), the Head of the Persian Gulf University, both parties should carry out research and training in the fields related to marine and oceanic sciences.
Mohammadi continued: “Providing the background for developing active and effective communication to carry out training activities, cooperation on research priorities of both parties to conduct joint research projects, exchange of faculty for collaborative learning and the use of training facilities on both sides are the most important issues contained in this agreement.”
