"A City Under Siege" to hit Iranian bookshelves

Soureh Mehr Publication will publish the English version of "A City Under Siege" in Iran, The work, penned by Habib Ahmadzadeh, was recently released in the U.S. by Mazda.
The book holds stories including 'Eagle Feather', 'The Airplane', 'An Umbrella for the Director', 'Thirty-nine plus One Prisoners', 'The Fleeing of the Warrior', 'A Letter to the Family Saad', 'If there were no Darya Qoli', 'Vengeance, Vengeance, Vengeance', and 'Neneh' which have been translated into English by Paul Sprachman.
Moreover the book holds the English versions of Captain Habib Ahmadzadeh's letters to the senior officer in the U.S. Navy Will Rogers as well as the U.S. Navy's responses.
As the "A City Under Siege" is being translated into French by Christophe Balaÿ, it will be converted into Arabic by Mohammad Al-amin.
By end of March 2011, Soureh Mehr Publication will release the book's English version in 2500 copies.
Authored by Habib Ahmadzadeh, the book 'A City Under Seige' is translated to English by Dr. Paul Sprachman. The work was released in the U.S. by Mazda Publication.
Moreover the story won the Writing Forge Literary Award in UK a while ago.
Habib Ahmadzadeh is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq War, whose military career began when he served as a teenage Basiji and ended after he attained the rank of Captain in the regular army. He has studied theatre arts and is an accomplished scenarist.
