Stanisław Lem's works to be assessed

The first joint session of fantasy and science-fiction commission of Children and Teenager's Author's Association and Fantasy Academy will be held Tuesday (June 22). The session will be on assessing the literary works of Stanisław Lem, the polish writer of science fiction, philosophy and satire.

IBNA: The session will be the 18th joint meeting of fantasy and science-fiction commission of Children and Teenager's Author's Association and Fantasy Academy.

It will briefly assess Stanisław Lem's works and their features.

Stanisław Lem was a Polish writer of science fiction, philosophy and satire . He was named a Knight of the Order of the White Eagle. His books have been translated into 41 languages and have sold over 27 million copies. He is perhaps best known as the author of the 1961 novel Solaris, which has twice been made into a feature film. In 1976, Theodore Sturgeon claimed that Lem was the most widely read science-fiction writer in the world.

The session will be held at Tuesday from 5-7pm in Children and Teenager's Author's Association which is located in Somayeh Ave.
