Iran-Qatar to boost publishing cooperation

IBNA- Director of the 30th Doha International Book Fair Jassem Al Buainain visited Iran's stand in the event and stressed on boosting cooperation in publishing between his country and Iran.
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), Jassem Al Buainain met Head of Iran's Research Center of Culture, Art and Communications Mohammad Solgi and discussed more cultural cooperation.
They also exchange their views on various aspects of Doha International Book Fair and Tehran International Book Fair.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports under the supervision of the Qatar Cultural and Heritage Events Center, the Qatari book fair is underway at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
The Fair is being held under the slogan “Do you then not ponder?”, with the participation of 335 publishing houses from 31 countries.
Coinciding with the launch of the Qatar-France 2020 Year of Culture 2020, France is the guest of honor at Doha International Book Fair 2020. The Fair will also witness the largest participation from private Qatar publishing houses.
The 30th Doha International Book Fair will run by January 18.
