Iranian stand's activities in Frankfurt Book Fair begin

IBNA- The opening ceremony of the 71st Frankfurt Book Fair was held yesterday evening and Iran's stand in this event began its activities with the representatives of Iranian publishing industry and cultural officials in attendance.
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), this year, Norway is the Guest of Honor of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2019 and the prime minister of that country as well as Head of German Publishers Union and Mayor of Frankfurt delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the event.
Every year, over 7500 publishers, authors and book activists attend this event and in its last edition, 285000 people visited the fair. Around 10000 reporters and bloggers are covering the book fair which will feature over 4000 programs.
Presenting the books, ‘Islam Belongs to Germany!’, ‘250 Years Old Human Being’, a book by the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Shi’a Imams, unveiling the book, ‘Cultural Heritage of Yazd’ in German, unveiling the audiobook ‘50 Ghazals by Hafez in Persian and Hungarian’ are among the other programs of Iran’s stand in Frankfurt Book Fair.
