Persian translation of ‘Political Psychology’ to be reviewed

IBNA- Persian translation of the book ‘Political Psychology’ (Key Readings in Social Psychology) by John T. Jost and Jim Sidanius will be reviewed in Tehran on Wednesday.
According to IBNA correspondent, the program will be held at Iran’s Research Center of Culture, Art and Communication, the publisher of the book. Political Psychology (Key Readings in Social Psychology)
has been translated into Persian by Mohammad-Reza Jalali and Mohammad Sa’di and released in 1004 pages. The event will be attended by a number of Iranian experts and academics.
Political psychology is a dynamic subfield at the intersection of psychology and political science. The specific relationship between politics and social psychology has been steadily evolving in recent years, making it a compelling and exciting area of study.
The chapters in this reader were written by leading scholars in the areas of political science and social psychology. Both contemporary and classic articles are compiled, demonstrating the ever-changing nature of political psychology and offering comprehensive coverage of social psychological research into the processes that have governed local and global affairs in the postmodern world.
Topics covered include authoritarianism, political leadership, public opinion, decision-making, prejudice, intergroup relations, terrorism, and revolution.
The meeting for reviewing ‘Political Psychology’ will be held in cooperation with the Research Center of Cultural and Social Studies affiliated to Iran’s Ministry of Science Research and Technology
