Intl. Storytelling Festival to be held in Tehran

IBNA- Organized by Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCYA), the 21st International Storytelling Festival will be held from December 17 to 20 in Tehran.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the Public Relations and International Relations Department of CIDCYA, the events will be held in cooperation with Iranian and foreign writers, literature experts actors and others.
Acclaimed Iranian writer of books for children and young adults Houshang Moradi Kermani, former children TV program host and actor Ehteram Borumand and her actress daughter Laili Rashidi as well as literature experts Ali Khanjani comprise the national section jury panel of the storytelling festival.
The jury of international section includes Iranian journalist and writer Mansour Zabetian, Iranian actress Mahtab Keramati as well as Danish Kasper Sorensen.
A section which features 90 seconds videos telling stories for children has also been included at the event.
The festival is organized annually by the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults to promote storytelling traditions among younger generations.
