Iran to attend Seoul Book Fair

IBNA- Iran will attend Seoul International Book Fair (SIBF) 2018 scheduled for June 20-24 in South Korean capital with books on various subjects.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), supported by South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism
the event will be held in COEX Exhibition Center.
The main theme of SIBF 2018
is “New Definition”. The information center of the exhibition describes this theme as follows: “What we want to do is overcome the walls of rigorism and prejudice. The place where we want to go is a space of possibilities opened up with new media.
SIBF wants to share with more readers the joy and sorrow, wisdom and secrets of which books contain. We would also like to re-arrange the boundary of reading and publishing by redefining the people who publish and read books.”
The guest of honor of Seoul International Book Fair 2018 is the Czech Republic. For visiting the event the students will pay 3000 and the adults 5000 won. The last edition of SIBF hosted 17 countries and 356 participants as 1700 cultural programs were held which had 202,297 visitors.
Iran will participate in this event in a stand of 18 square meters with a variety of books on Iran studies, children and young adults, art, contemporary Persian literature and religion.
