Armenian young adults recite Persian poems

IBNA- At the graduation ceremony of a high school in the city of Abovyan, Armenia ‎attended by Iranian representatives, the students recited classic poems by the celebrated ‎Iranian poets. ‎
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Sa’adi Foundation in Tehran, the celebration in High School No. 6 of Abovyan opened with a congratulation message by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with Iranian officials and instructors of Persian language Ms. Norouzi and Ms. Kazemi in attendance.

Following the ceremony, the students of the high school began to recite poems the by the legendary Iranian bards such as Khayyam, Rumi and Hafez as well as common proverbs used by both Armenian and Iranian people.

The matron of high school Ms. Wartanian appreciated the support of Iran’s Cultural Attaché for holding Persian language courses in High School No. 6 and called for more cultural cooperation with between the two parties.

For her part, Ms. Norouzi referred to the Persian literature and said that cultures are connected to each other like oceans throughout the world and two neighboring friend countries Iran and Armenia have numerous cultural, commonalities.
