Iranian illustrators’ works to be displayed in Japan ‎

IBNA- An exhibition of the best book illustrations across the world will feature the works of ‎four Iranian artists which will also be displayed in five Japanese museums later.‎
 
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations and international affairs department of Iran’s Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, the Iranian works have been selected from among the best illustrations of children books which were already showcased at Biennial of Illustration in Bratislava 2017.

Among these works are the illustrations of the book ‘Three Angels with Golden Wings and Blue Eyes’ which have been drawn by Ali Reza Goldouzian. This children book was written by the prominent Iranian poet and writer Ahmad Reza Ahmadi.

Furthermore, in this exhibition, which is held by the Association of Japan’s Art Museums, the illustrations of other Iranian artists including Nargess Mohammadi, Farshad Shafiei, and Ghazaleh Bigdelu will be put on public display.

By showcasing these works the Association of Japan’s Art Museums aims to make the Japanese illustrators acquainted with the works of their counterparts in some other countries which have a notable background in the art of book illustration.

The five Japanese museums will host the illustrations of for about 6 to 8 weeks.
