26th New Delhi Book Fair hosts Iran

IBNA- The 26th New Delhi World Book Fair which opened today is hosting Iranian publications presenting 470 titles in this.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI)
, the event is scheduled for January 6 to 14. Last year New Delhi played host to 756 publishers from 19 countries.
The guest of honor in this edition of New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF)
is the European Union
representing the print industry of countries in Europe. The fair comprises various sections including General Publishers, Commerce, Technology, Social Sciences, Electronic Books, Children and Young Adults, Indian Publishers and International Section.
Iran’s stand is located in an area of 18 square meters where books on arts, Iran’s studies, calligraphy, Persian classic literature as well as books for children and young adults are put on public display.
Introducing Iranian publishing industry, Persian writers of books for children and young adults in English catalogs, selling the copyrights of Iranian books are among the other activities carried out in this event at Iran’s stand.
Held for the past 45 years, New Delhi World Book Fair is now a major calendar event in the publishing world. The event is organized by National Book Trust (NBT) in association with India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) annually at Pragati Maidan.
