Iran’s stand active at Zagreb Book Fair

IBNA– The 40th Interliber Book Fair in Zagreb was held in Croatian capital hosting the Iranian stand which actively participated in this event.
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the Iranian Embassy in Zagreb, the fair was held from November 7 to 12, 2017, with the participation of publishers from different countries of the world including Austria, France, Italy, USA, England, Iran, China, Germany, Croatia and Spain.
Hundreds of international publishers have displayed their works in this event which is one of the most important annual cultural events in the Balkans.
Interliber, which is of great importance in Croatia, was opened by the Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and attended by members of the government, diplomats and cultural figures.
The stand of Iran, organized and established by the Iranian Embassy in Croatia, has displayed exquisite works of outstanding Iranian and Islamic figures (in Croatian and English) by Iranian publishers and cultural organizations based in Balkan region.
The location and decoration of e Iranian stand and the supply of hundreds of titles of books and cultural products and works by Ayatollah Morteza Motahari, Allameh Tabataba'i and Allameh Ja’fari in Croatian attracted particular attention and placed this stand in the spotlight of Interliber Fair.
