Russian Iranologists visit Iran’s stand at MIBF

IBNA- The day of Iran was held at Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) on Saturday as the Russian Iranologists visited the Iranian stand.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute, the program of the day of Iran took place at the 30th Moscow International Book Fair
with the director of Khayyam
Literary and Cultural Association, the head Of Persian Language Center, a Professor of Moscow Linguistics University and Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Moscow in attendance.
In this event, the book ‘History of Iran’ was introduced and discussions were made on the grounds for more cultural interaction between Iran and Russia. Moreover, an ensemble of the musicians of our country performed a number of pieces of Iranian traditional music.
The officials of Iran’s stand also met, Director of the Moscow Book Fair Sergey Kaykin and other Russian cultural officials.
Iran’s stand at the 30th
MIBF has an area of 24 m². Over 250 book titles on a variety of subjects such as Iranian classic poetry, contemporary literature and the biography of martyrs of the “Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq War
)” are on public display in the book fair.
MIBF opened on September 6 and will wrap up on September 10.
Moscow International Book Fair was established in 1977 and is an official member of the International Organization of Book Publishers.
