BIBF to display over 950 Iranian books ‎

IBNA- As the guest of honor of the 24th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), Iran will ‎display over 950 titles of books in this event. ‎
According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the public relations office of  Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), CEO of this institute Amir Mas’oud Shahram-Nia said that more than 13 publication institutes and 3 literary agencies from Iran will take part at the 24th Beijing International Book Fair.
Speaking about the Iranian publishers, he added: “Tehran’s Allameh Tabataba’i University with over 70 books on academic studies; Iranian Organization of Research and Composing Textbooks on Humanities (SAMT) with 76 books on literature and academic studies; the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (CIDCY) which more than 100 books for children and young adults; Candle and Fog Publishing with over 40 books and on fiction and literature and other publication Institutes will showcase their works at Iran’s stand in the 24th BIBF.
Furthermore, ICFI, in cooperation with the Iranian Illustration Association, holds an exhibition of selected works of illustrators in the Iranian stand.  
CEO of ICFI had already said on this event: “Attending the 24th edition of Beijing International Book ‎Fair as the guest of honor provides a good opportunity for Iran and China to expand their cultural cooperation and easy exchange of information between the publishers and the ‎authors of both countries enabling them to take the best advantage of the occasion.”                                                                                                                 
Beijing International Book Fair 2017 will be held from August 23 to 27 at the Convention Center of Beijing International Hotel.
Iran will partake at the BIBF with the motto “The Colorful Dream of Silk Road” Iran’s stand is located at the entrance of West Hall 2, New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC), covering an area of 500㎡.
A series of seminars on print industry, book promotion events, writers' dialogues, illustrators' shows and art performance will take place during the book fair.
