Mexico eyes for more cultural interaction with Iran

IBNA- Attending the 30th Tehran International Book Fair Deputy Ambassador of Mexico in Tehran said that his country is eager to strengthen cultural interaction with Iran exploring new ways to achieve this goal.

correspondent quoting from the news department of the 30th Tehran International Book Fair
(TIBF), in the ninth day of this event Mr. Tonatiuh Romero referred to the participation of his country at TIBF.
“The books displayed in our stand aren’t for sale, but we want to promote Mexican culture and poetry,” he said.
“In the previous edition of TIBF, we intended to translate a book titled ‘Mexican History’. We are so interested in translating works of the both countries which develop the ties between Iran and Mexico,” Deputy Ambassador added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Romero referred to the organization and holding Tehran International Book Fair and said: “Holding such an event is a great and dreamlike task which amazed me.”
With the motto “Let’s Read one More Book” the 30th
TIBF opened on May 3 and will run by May 13 at Shahr-e Aftab (the Sun City) Complex in an area of 135,000 square meters located in the southern suburb of Tehran .
