Conference observes Newal Kishore contribution to Persian language development

IBNA- Iran’s Book House Institute will hold the international conference “Role of Munshi Newal Kishore in the Development of Persian Language and Literature in the World” in collaboration with Delhi University and Iran’s Cultural Attaché to India.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Iran’s Book House Institute (IBHI), this conference is scheduled to be held in May 2017 in Dehli, India. The researchers, authors and the academics may send their abstract articles until October 21 and the complete articles not after December 3 to the secretariat of the conference. The articles should not have been published in any format before the event.
A key figure in the publication industry of India, Munshi Newal Kishore
published more than 5000 books in Arabic, Bengali, Hindi, English, Marathi, Punjabi, Pashto, Perisan, Sanskrit and Urdu during 1858-1885. He founded the 'Newal Kishore Press and Book Depot' at Lucknow. This institution today is the oldest printing and publishing concern in Asia.
