Female rescuer’s diaries of war unveiled at Frankfurt Fair

IBNA- The English version of the book ‘Eternal Fragrance’, the diaries of an Iranian female rescuer Masoumeh Ramhormozi from the “Sacred Defense” was unveiled at Frankfurt International Book Fair.
According to IBNA
correspondent, the English translation, ‘Eternal Fragrance’ (‘The Last Sunday’ in Iran) was unveiled in Iran’s stand at the 66th Frankfurt Book Fair
as the author and a number of publishers active in antiwar books publication attended the unveiling ceremony.
‘Eternal Fragrance’ consists of Ramhormorzi’s own memories of the “Sacred Defense” (the war Iraq imposed on Iran
) and was ranked the second book in the 9th Sacred Defense Book of the Year Awards.
Ma’soumeh Ramhormozi was a rescuer in war hospitals during the “Sacred Defense”, when she was only 14.
“‘Eternal Fragrance’” is termed one of the first published works on the memoires of the Iranian women in the war period which paves the way for publishing other books of this kind.
The original book was translated into English by Farahnaz Omidvar, and the English translation was later sent to England so the native editors could edit it.
