Iranian Pens Title on Iraq’s Intifada

Iranina writer Safaoding Tabraeian has written the first book on the public uprising of Iraqis against American troopers. The work received a special commendation at the 6th Jalal Ale Ahmad Award.
Speaking with IBNA, the writer said his book focuses on intifada in Iraq, and said that it is written in Persian and Arabic.
Entitled as ‘Intifada Shabania’ , the work has sparked a lot of attention by Iraqi politicians who called to its translation into Arabic.
The Arabic version of the work is being prepared and will be published parallel with the 40th day of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom.
The work is arranged in ten chapters and sheds light on issues like the contemporary political history of Iraq, the Baath Regime, their crimes, Iraq’s invasion to Kuwait, Iraq’s status after the war with Iran, the Arab Union’s stance towards Iraq, and who really won in the second Persian Gulf war.
