Iranian embassy’s lawyer in Jordan said that books penned by Imam Khomeini are sparse in the country due to government policies to cut down the release of religious works.
Feisal Al-Khozaei stated that Imam Khomeini’s works are not available in the Jordanian book market due to the government’s smothering ban on the release and publication of religious books in the country.
“The distribution of religious books is highly monitored by the government and books like Imam Khomeini’s works are not available in the market at all,” he said.
He further added that people who are eager to learn about Imam Khomeini’s personality, thinking and works get access to his books through Iran’s embassy.
As he said, the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization is the only publisher of such books in Jordan.
He also underlined the anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s demise, and stated that his loss was not only tangible in Iran but in many other countries in the world of Islam including Jordan.
