On the eve of the 26th Tehran International Book Fair, Iranian novelist Firooz Zenozi Jalali says that foreigners are keen to learn about Iranian fiction.
The Iranian writer believes that Tehran International Book Fair is an opportunity for introducing the top works of Iranian fiction to the world. The book fair attracts attention and our cultural policymakers should grab such opportunities.
Iran’s top fictions should be introduced at the book fair’s international section and their translation into other languages is among the necessities, he noted.
Tehran International Book Fair is annually held as a social and cultural phenomenon with book displays, panel discussions and publishing deals.
The 26th Tehran International Book Fair will be held at Tehran's Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Ground from May 1 to 11, 2013.
