Two new books by Majid Adibzadeh are devoted to the study of the historical formation of modern enlightening institutions in Iran and the Iranians encounter with human sciences.

IBNA: The book is entitled as "Enlightenment Movements at the Dawn of Modern Iran" and Gam-e-No was to publish it, but because of the problems the publisher has recently got, it will be released by Shabgir Publications.

Adibzadeh also referred to the book "Historical Situation of Scientific Thought in Iran" as a brief survey of the evolution of science in Iran and the marginalization of rational sciences in a period of history in the country.

He added: "I tried to show how previous historical events and the Iranians' encounter with modern human sciences caused the bipolarity of references of knowledge in Iran."

Adibzadeh asserted that the book is in fact calling for rethinking about one of the most challenging contemporary issues for us, that is, the human sciences.

"I believe that besides thought plans for humanities, we should get to know the historical condition of scientific thought in Iran in order to avoid repeated historical mistakes and to build the future with more awareness and lessons from the past," he said.
